UHN IGB Sugriwa Students Depart for Short Course Program at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Thailand
Bangkok, (UHN Sugriwa) – Four students from Universitas Hindu Negeri I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar, Cok Sindy, Tri Wahyuni, Givana, and Diantari, have officially departed for Mahamakuṭ Buddhist University, Isan Campus (MBUISC), Thailand, to participate in a Short Course Program taking place from November 4 to December 20, 2025.
This academic program serves as a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UHN IGB Sugriwa and MBUISC, aiming to strengthen academic collaboration, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding between the two institutions.

The departure of the students was accompanied by the Head of the International Office of UHN IGB Sugriwa, Ni Wayan Satri Adnyani, M.Pd., who expressed her support and encouragement for the participants. She emphasized that this program represents a valuable opportunity for students to gain international experience and to serve as ambassadors of UHN IGB Sugriwa abroad.
During the six-week program, the students will engage in academic lectures, cultural immersion activities, and spiritual learning that reflect the shared values of Buddhist and Hindu philosophy. The program also provides an opportunity for participants to broaden their global perspectives and foster intercultural understanding.
Through this program, UHN IGB Sugriwa continues to strengthen its international partnerships and reaffirm its commitment to advancing education, culture, and interreligious harmony. (*/may)
